Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By visiting this store or placing an order you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the store.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority in your province, state, or territory to place an order, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
3. Products and pricing
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise and may change without notice. We try to display product details accurately but cannot guarantee your screen renders colours exactly. Promotional pricing, including the recurring daily sale window shown on our homepage, applies only while displayed and may be withdrawn at any time.
4. Orders
We may refuse or cancel any order, including orders that appear fraudulent, orders placed by resellers without agreement, or orders where a product was listed at an incorrect price. If we cancel a paid order, we refund it in full.
5. Product use and safety
The DJD022 is a powered cutting tool. Read the included instructions before use, wear eye protection, keep hands and loose clothing clear of the blade, and remove the battery before servicing or changing blades. Do not use the tool on metal, wire, masonry, or material beyond its 50mm rated capacity. We are not liable for injury or damage caused by misuse, modification, or use contrary to the instructions.
6. Batteries and trademarks
Our tools are compatible with, but not manufactured or endorsed by, DeWalt. Batteries are sold separately by third parties and carry their manufacturer's warranty, not ours. Trademarks referenced are the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
7. Warranty
Tools carry a 12-month limited warranty from the date of delivery against defects in materials and workmanship, covering the brushless motor, gearbox and drivetrain, trigger and control electronics, and battery mount. Blades are consumable wear parts and are excluded, as is damage from drops, crushing, submersion, counterfeit batteries, or cutting material outside the tool's rating. To make a claim, contact us with your order number and evidence of the fault.
8. Returns
Our returns policy and refund policy form part of these terms.
9. Reviews and claims
Customer reviews reflect that customer's individual experience and are not a guarantee of results. Performance figures such as cutting capacity describe the tool's rated specification under normal conditions.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Intellectual property
All content on this store — text, images, layout, and code — is owned by Electric Goddess Tools and may not be copied or reused without written permission.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which our business is registered.
13. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. The version posted here is the version in force.
